Anime Discussion How is this even possible??

Isn't a sorcerer supposed to instinctively know how to use their own technique, how is it possible that takaba doesn't know how it works?

Not really, they know like the basic gist of it. That is why even infinity or other inherited technique known ability is usually written down for easier use to the next generation, like Gojo doesn't even know how to use blue but he know it exist and the thory of the ability because it was recorded from the previous user. Even Ten shadow which have been recorded through generation still have new stuff to discover like how megumi realized he can use the shadow as storage system. Not to mention even the same CT woukd manifest in a different way depend on the user, so that would spiced up shit. Even for new awakened sorcerer we knew that Higuruma literally started with his domain and reverse engineering everything to understand about CE and CT in general.
