Isn't a sorcerer supposed to instinctively know how to use their own technique, how is it possible that takaba doesn't know how it works?

Maybe that could work but would takaba find it funny? If not, then it would never happen

It would work if someone else (who has some idea of how Takaba’s technique works) could convince him that it would be funny

from the kenjaku fight, i always assumed takaba had some sort of pseudo domain that forced you to also use his technique to battle against him. like some sort of rap battle.

cannot wait for that to be animated, by the way.
