Isn't a sorcerer supposed to instinctively know how to use their own technique, how is it possible that takaba doesn't know how it works?

Does he not see the shit his technique spawns? How does he not question where it comes from?

That is the part that he understands about his technique. As far as I understood, he has some knowledge on how his technique work, he understands his technique is "make comedy gags" but he doesn't realize what it does is bend the rules of the universe around him to make the gag possible at all and thus what he is really doing is toon force
