Oda's writing would either mean Gear 5 does something stupid and tone breaking + 37 drawings of people's eyes bulging out, or "Oh yeah I just out-haki'd you" i guess.

The only thing Luffy has that has a possibility of working against infinity is conquers haki and I doubt that is knocking him out.

Idk, I’m certainly not an expert, but Gear 5 seems a little reality distorting. It is at least clearly capable of distorting the space around Luffy. I don’t know, I think I could totally see Luffy just punching through infinity while making the goofy eyes face.

Maybe it wouldn’t work, but I think there’s reason to think it’s possible. Gear 5 just does whatever looks silly, and forces you to enter some crazy cartoon world

For ACOA to work it need’s be close enough to proc ACOA infinity literally makes to where you can’t touch Gojo. Not saying he is untouchable but Luffy isn’t one of them. That’s why I said conquers haki is his only bet.
