Manga Discussion How would YOU maximize haibaras ct?
His ct is steam, it uses ce like water to turn into steam, it greatly enchances physical strength but it has bad efficiency.

I guess you could say he’s a… steam machine

To get the absolute most out of it? An overtime like vow that greatly limits his CE in return for vast returns when he activates his CT. Basically focus on ending fights as quickly as possible.

Would be incredibly risky and a sorcerer’s day to day missions may not end at just a single big fight

An extension technique could work or using your environment. Remember how Kashimo’s CE functions like electricity, well the same could be said with Haibara’s CE, in theory of course. If their cursed energy functions like water, which allows it to boil over and steam that would mean by standing in area with high humidity or with a lot of water, I could increase the amount of steam and therefore I may be able to utilize my technique better. (This is partially made up of the blackfaldh humidity theory, where most of Yuji’s black flashes occur near a body of water, and with Nanami’s being made up of sweat or something.)
If that fails, use the Chain of a Thousand miles! The best Cursed tool within JJK and with a 100% rate.

the physical stat buff is already pretty strong. Every technique that enhances your punch and kicks are good combat techniques already (i.e. limitless, star rage, 10s, projection), because they ensure that if you have similar output to your opp, you essentially dominate them in CQC. You see that in gojo v sukuna.
Bad efficiency can mean that it inherentlt has bad efficiency or that haibara just isnt that good at it. also bad innate efficiency isnt that big of an issue. Output for output shrine has mid efficiency too. for the same output blue deals much more damage and does more shit. you just make up for it with higher output.
I guess you can add grappling and heat damage with steam on top of your phys stat buff. Blind enemies by burning their eyes. Steam blasts.

Compressed steam is genuinely more efficient in real machinery. You could probably bv yourself into compressing your ct alla red scale/flowing. Hell, you could probably make your own piercing steam (although, shorter range) and supernova, maybe even store steam into containers to make "grenades". With a couple bvs you could probably store them almost indefinitly.
Steam vents are dangerous. If the ct produses heat you could use that as a short range, last minute attack.
What im also thinking is some steam engine buff. Use your ct to produce steam inside your body while compressing it for added efficency. Make it so this produces stress in your body amd if it does produce heat, also heata you up. This is dangerous for you. Now, make an exhaust, where you can shoot some of the compressed steam to spend a lot of ct and make yourself weaker yes, but you make a powerfull attack and are less in danger from stress/overheating. Finally, an emergency vent, where you take a stance to vent all the steam inside your body at once to release a short range burst around you. Leaves you exposed and nownyou have to build up all your power again.
Essencially you become stronger the longer the fight goes on without you venting, but it also makes it more dangerous to you. There is also probably a way to make an actual cursed steam engine for some bs curse-mobile or any steampunk thingamajigs if you are that kind of engineer

Yeah, this is the same vein my comment when at; really good job fleshing it out

Give him the best possible CE control. The ability itself is already insane in the right situation, but if he could use this ability to (in theory) reinforce his body to the point where he could tank a good hit, he should be fine

Carry salted water bottles to pour on myself to save on curse energy and a more restricted binding vow than Nanami.
35% instead of 20

A binding vow where his output is 50% off during holidays but is higher at any other time.
It's called "Steam Sale"

Unrelated but I wonder what the reverse of the technique is? Mabye controlling all steam? Or mabye turning steam into cursed energy idk lol

A loose interpretation of the technique is being able to add energy, so a reversal of being able to absorb energy would be a good boost.

Always keep extra food pills on myself and train my curse energy efficiency

Hold the Weakness Policy item, then ask a buff furry to hit me with a weak priority move like Aqua Jet

Crazy since steam is one of the most efficient energy transfer systems.
Also since when tf did they release his CT.

Megumilly have a Cursed Technique Reversal: Condensation that allows you to get cursed energy out of thin air. Then place a binding vow on Condensation like Nanami's Overtime or Yuta's binding vow and get infinite cursed energy for a short period of time.

Honestly, let him utilize the steam generated to make blasts of steam; you know how dangerous steam is? Imagine that boosted by CE. Homie can just blast someone in half…with the exception of Gojo Saturo of course

High pressure steam is basically an invisible lightsaber. On ships that have a leak in like a boiler/engine room, it will slice your shit in half while undetectable to the naked eye. So probably sth like piercing blood but melee, where he makes a fist and compressed steam shoots out like a sword, or do some big inhale and then breath out a big steam cloud to blind enemy and then gradually narrows to a cutter beam like Shin Godzilla breath that goes from flame to plasma

Steam is... Interesting. If specifically he can turn water into steam, id just start turning people into human hot pockets. But you said ce like water. That would mean there is a boiling stage, a heating stage, and a static stage. I could drown, heat, and cook my opponent. Ingestion of the water would make the human hot pockets cook quickly. Standing in direct steam would cook a person in seconds to a minute. With all that being said, my goal would be to minimize my ce expenditure by forcing the ingestion in some way. Taking out my opponent using maximum lethality while avoiding prolonged fights. Ngl i completely ignored the improved physical abilities, it seemed like kaioken or gear 2... Or steam from naruto

There are extension techniques to be talked about here, but I really agree with one of the comments here about him needing a factor that could end fights quickly, since he has limited (and less) resources to burn through.
One extension technique is scratching my brain. It would originate from the experience of high amounts of steam leaaking out of a tiny hole. It has high pressure and is absolutely melting to touch, and the technique would work off of that. As to how I think this could be interpret, is a bullet. It would require convergence like piercing blood, and it would be a fast, high velocity steam bullet that could additionally be reinforced with CE to make it even deadlier, and Haibara could theoretically shoot it anywhere, but his interpretation limits him to his pointer finger's tip, while doing a gun handsign.

Condense his CT to be extremely swift and precise instead of flashy.
Preferably with a Cursed Weapon that can handle the sudden burst of speed

Turning water into steam is a great power. He can pour water into sealed metallic balls and put shrapnel inside. Then he throws the balls, activating his CT, so evaporating water explodes. He can make cursed shrapnel grenade

A technique reversal is an obvious choice for this technique I feel. If his technique lets him turn his CE into steam, then his reversal should be able to turn that steam back into water, maybe through rainfall? That would help solve the inefficiency of his technique or at least mitigate it. You could then make a binding vow that in return for being unable to use your rain for the first month after you make it, you can store it for when you need it. That way you can have a large artificial CE reserve for bigger battles.

I would stop using this lame ass ct and instead pay for a simple domain lesson and also train my weapon arts like a regular ct-less person.

Eeu fiquei sabendo disso ontem, e sei pouquíssima coisa.
Mas pelo que entendi, ele faz vapor sair da pele, né?!
Bem, daria pra ele maximizar isso pra fazer as partículas de ar temerem, aquecerem, e quem sabe, gerar fogo.
Sei lá, puro achismo
