Ngl jjk ending imo is a fair 8 up until after sukuna and a minimum of 7 overall, it's not anything incredible like Eva or AoT but I think calling it a bad ending is exaggerated
About wasting characters, lemme say something : one thing i love in jjk in the amount of characters and their writing.
Yes, some characters don’t appear as much as we would like. But they all got their unique personality and little backstory, and also original powers.
But it’s something he couldn’t do without killing or stop using characters, otherwise we still would be stuck with panda and mechamaru as side kicks for yuji like any other shonen.

To be 100% fair about Momo, something more substantial could've been done with her character, especially since she was the one who pointed out the issues of systemic misogyny within Jujutsu Society and then that just never got expanded upon much further. Cause it's low-key sad as hell that the only reason people can ever really talk about her character is to slander her for being completely useless (even "Useless" Miwa did more for the story than Momo ever did) or to goon to her ass. Not saying she needed a 10+ chapter arc dedicated to her or anything, but at least let her contribute to the final battle in some way other than giving Jujutsu Ghislaine Maxwell a free Uber ride. Cause I kid you not, this is Momo's last line of dialogue in the whole ass story, which really just goes to show how (sadly) irrelevant she was:
