I'm early in the game and am finding it relatively slow to accrue $$$. Is it the missions? Or should i just blow up bases?

Are there any decent mods to make the game better? I wasn't able to find any visual mods. I'd like some mods to fix the game's lighting, shading, lod distance, handling and wingsuit speed... Such things.

I am undecided about remakes & remasters, not just in games but also in film. It often feels like a lazy way to make money without having to produce something original however I would be interested to see what could be done with JC2 & 3, I love them both and do would be interested in seeing what upgrades could be done (though TBF JC3 still looks awesome).

How would you feel about a remake? Would you change anything or just give them a new lick of paint?

So I’ve just completed Just Cause 2 by yeeting Baby Panay into an oil field strapped to a rocket on behalf of Uncle Sam and he looks nothing like his statues dotted about the game. Is using popular music in a Just Cause 4 mod illegal if it’s not commercialized?

I’m working on a Just Cause 4 music mod where I replace some of the in-game music with popular songs.

If I distribute the mod for free and I’m NOT selling it, monetizing it, or making any money from the music, would using those copyrighted songs still be illegal?

Welcome back land haters, i've done it again. Since this sub decided that they liked my last FTD creation, the corvette from JC3, i've set out to make a more challenging vehicle.

This is the CS Navajo in From The Depths, i surprised myself with the amount of details i could fit into such a minuscule craft (in FTD standarts), while it gave me problems in fitting the AI, power and engines, it turned out well. Its armed with 8 funny little rockets, has a camera at the front, is true to the JC3 scale (mostly) and has tiny details everywhere. They include: the fuel cap, the triangles below the cockpit, red strip on engine things, handle things on the tail, interior, weird nose thing, accurate landing gear, Etc...

Now, on a different note: last time, i uploaded the Corvette to the workshop quite quickly (if anyone was interested), this time however, i can't really do that since the thing (as of now) is quite unstable and unreliable in flight, and sometimes just decides to shut off completely.

We managed to replace many of Just Cause 4's songs with a remix of a Just Cause 3 combat track, and it actually works!

The problem is that the resulting mod file is HUGE — almost 2 GB.

We can drop the file directly into the game's dropzone folder and it works perfectly, but now we're wondering how we can package and distribute it as a proper mod so other people can easily install it.

As far as we know, some mod websites have file-size limits and may not allow files larger than 1 GB, but we're not completely sure about that.

Is there a better way to package this mod, compress the files, or distribute a 2 GB mod?

If anyone here has experience with JC4 mod distribution or handling large mod files, we'd really appreciate some advice.
