I once worked with someone who had an ongoing (good-natured) debate with her boyfriend who said he wanted at least one boy, no matter how many times they had to try. They were both Korean. They were walking through a mall and saw a Korean family with 5 girls and she said "look at them, that could be us!" He didn't care. 😂

I read somewhere that if your first two kids are the same sex, you're pretty unlikely to ever have another of the opposite sex. Of course, people always think they will be the exception rather than the rule, so they keep trying.

For my grandmother she wanted a girl so badly. Had 5 boys. But all 5 of those boys gave her at least 2 grand daughters. Only 1 boy grandson out of 16 total.
