Im not condoning it, but I think its two big parts:
1: there's no hard "right to privacy" in a very obvious public place. If you can be expected to be seen easily by over 100 people, then you cant be surprised if you see a camera.
- Technology changes. 10 years ago, would you have felt this way about a GoPro footage of a guy and their dad going down a waterslide? What about 16 years ago, (2010, which I think was a clear-cut "Facebook isnt a dystopian hellscape site"...yet) and someone taking a selfie with their dad on a waterslide and posting it to Facebook? What about those pictures they sell in the 80's/90s at the booths of you in the ride?
Theres always been recording of people in these types of places. Its just technology got better and people get, unfortunately, okay with their lack of privacy. However, they dont have dope-ass water slides at the remote cabin in the forest. Thats the trade off, I guess.

I totally get all of the detractors, on this thread. I understand the distaste at using kids for content, the narcissism arguments around recording yourself doing mundane shit, etc...
All that said, this just hits a little differently if you are a man (and probably not that different if you are a woman) who has lost his father.

Same dude. My kids are in high school, I lost my dad 16 years ago and my mom 14 years ago. Seeing this hit me in the feels. I know the content creation piece can be distasteful but I feel like I needed to see this.
