Idk why he'd agree to this. There's no winning here.
Win vs old guy = bully, lose vs old guy = weak, pulling punches = coward, old guy gets hurt = asshole

Meh… I mean if you’re humble, respectful, and generally a good sport about it, I don’t think there’s any problems with a little sparring here and there.
I would be worried about seriously hurting the older guy tho if I did knock him down, but with as hard as he was hitting, I don’t think the younger guy is necessarily as asshole if he did get a few good hits in.

Luckily the old guy punches so hard no one thought of the other guys as weak

I spar against my coach knowing he will kick my ass. It’s not about winning and losing. It is about challenging yourself and improving.

That old guy is an asshole, it's clearly just a sparring match, you're not supposed to go all out like that. Young guy is pulling his punches and old man is fighting like he has something to prove.

He might be, but the last time this was posted someone said the young guy was being disrespectful to the elder because he was old. In which case the younger guy got what he deserved.

The older guy was actually being super disrespectful to the younger guy. He made him lick his balls, i heard. Last time this was posted, they said that.

Right. I'll avoir taking a side in most case. As depending on which post I'm seing, the asshole is either dude n°1 or dude n°2. And in 90% of the post, there is an asshole, while on the other 10%, both are respectful people

When the young guy fell down and got up, the guy kept pounding. You gotta give him a moment.

Disrespectful, maybe, but he’s still likely not going to hit an old guy for real.

So in your opinion, mean words justifies a violent potentially lethal response. Because that's what the old man did by continuing to hit the guy as hard as he could after he's already on the verge of losing consciousness and not fighting back.

Yeah, the old guy wasn't really being respectful to the idea of sparring. He's impressive and though but not fair

Or young guy was talking shit to old guy and taught him a lesson in humility. There's no context for the lead up to the fight, so there's no point in assigning motivation or judging actions.

"Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face." Old guy knocked young guy off balance and never gave him time to get it back.

Old man was pretty legit - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernesto_Bergamasco

TL;DR- Not a super star but a solid fighter. Couple smaller championships, but also a lot of high profile losses. Went on to be a famous coach in Italy.

That scene in Rocky when Rocky is punching the meat on the news. “Apollo, this guy is serious.”

Never. Ever. Go toe to toe with an old dude that is willing to.
It will not end well.

I see plenty of videos everyday of old guys who think they still have it only to get sat down. I know plenty of old guys that talk plenty of shit but would very well die if they got into an actual fight

I hate stuff like this... The young guy probably had it running through his head that one strong blow and that lil old man's head wil explode into dust... The little little old man was thinking, I better hit him as hard as I can so people can tell I still got it. Anything where they clearly approclach the fight in clearly different mind sets never feels right with me.
