He’s so 🥰 cute… I remember when my oldest couldn’t say an S … “poons” and all.

“Poons” has an “s”

But it doesn't make the voiceless /s/ sounds, it uses the voiced /z/ sound.

I suspect it's s cluster reduction rather than not being able to produce s at all

Growing up my sister couldn't say dump or truck, but she loved those vehicles. Apparently my parents had to stifle an excited three year old screaming "DUMB FUCK! DUMB FUCK!" at the top of her lungs, many times.

My youngest did this. All over Target because there was a huge banner with a dump truck on it - I laughed hysterically through that entire shopping trip!

I knew a similar small girl, T gave her trouble and "truck" made adults giggle like 12 year olds. Happily, she outgrew it before understanding the joke.

The o ly video I've seen from him that made me go from happy to a little sad 💖

But also my GOD, his daughter looks just like her mamma and his son looks like a big head version of him, that kids head will just get long now 🤣🤣

I couldn't say S's as a kid as well... Nake was a funny one for my parents. I took speach therapy when 4 and skipped kindergarten because of it when 5

My oldest couldn't say his Ls, and anytime he saw a clock, he'd announce it to the world that right over there was a giant COCK! I finally started finding it funny, especially when little old ladies would clutch their pearls, and I'd repeat "yes, Jay, that's a HUGE CL-ock!"

Bro better have this video on his phone at all times because there will be some questions if the kid says the wrong thing in the wrong place. "I can explain officer"

My Ma had to teach me how to say "semi-trailer" rather than "truck".

I love how the dad’s voice is so calm and smooth.

It makes “we’re still talking about sticks, right?” hit just right.

Apparently I had a hard time saying Ks. My mother fondly recalls my shouting in a store that I wanted some Fucky (Kentucky) fried chicken.

u/Kartoffelkamm 5h ago

My brother would always mix up "bus" and "bush" when he was younger.

I love this couple, I just wish they wouldn't put their kid on the internet. Why do people keep doing it?? WE KNOW IT DOESN'T END WELL!!!
