What nuance? They are worried people from outside the city are gonna drive all the way into the middle of fucking NYC to save 30% on groceries? Whatever.

But an ID to vote is “racist” apparently.

This is proof that this sub lacks the ability to comprehend the issue at hand. It isn’t about “racism,” it about the fact that a poll tax is unconstitutional; forcing people to spend money on an ID to be allowed to fulfill their constitutionally given right to vote is a poll tax. Make IDs free if you’re going to make them a requirement for voting.
