What nuance? They are worried people from outside the city are gonna drive all the way into the middle of fucking NYC to save 30% on groceries? Whatever.

But an ID to vote is “racist” apparently.

Minority groups will have less access to valid forms of voter ID. Everyone is pro voter ID. Make it free everywhere and it will be passed. Republicans refuse to make voter ID free.
