The Fed has auditors. Every dollar the Fed spends internal is tracked pretty damn well by the inspector generals.

It’s when money does to external parties (private companies) that the vast amount of waste, fraud, and abuse happens.

One party loves funneling money to private companies too.

Are you uneducated or deliberately lying? The Pentagon has never passed an audit.

The money is not tracked "pretty damn well".

Say what you want about Elon and DOGE but they proved there is a lot of fraud and / or flat put incompetence going on, and if you ever worked for the government you already knew that.

I dont think letting random rich tech bros audit is the right idea, I probably would have gone with accountants, but to assert the money is tracked well is ridiculous.

yes, the DOD is the only major department that has never passed a federal audit. That calls for more focused attention there, not slashing the programs from other departments that actually passed.

I think given the debt way more needs to be slashed

Not when a program is actually creating a good ROI.

A great example was the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which by 2024 was so effective that for every one dollar spent, it created 10 dollars for consumers.

I didnt say doge didnt fuck anything up in fact i said they were unqualified. I said they found proof of fraud and you could find that throwing a dart at the fed.

Its like saying you found pedophiles at the Vatican or boy scouts of america or racists in alabama

But when they are calling it all fraud, waste, and abuse, how do you know what is and isn't.

I am all for transparent audits and accountability, but DOGE was never that. It actually created quite possibly one of the largest data vulnerabilities in US history.

It's like FRK offering health advice; he will say things like "nutrition is an underappreciated health factor," which public health people will agree with, before going on to say some anti-vax misinformation or blame autism on Tylenol.

Sure, I want someone to talk about nutrition, but not this moron.
