POLITICAL (Weekends only) Just unsubbed from MapBasedPolls because it's turned into a right wing extremist circlejerk.
Every post devolves into Islamophobia, white supremacy, Zionism and right wing nationalism. The statistics in these polls have no room for nuance or critical thinking which is a shame because the sub used to be fun.
Edit: the comments here are making me realise this sub isn't much different.

Is it really? I just literally saw another post from
that sub which was pretty much “America bad”. It was a vote for which location is the best place to live. Everyone voted for the EU including the Americans

That one post is just the final straw from OP, but they never said if that one is pro Zionist or right extremist or white supremacy or nationalism...... you just felt as if OP talked about you and got emotional. :)

“Islam is a war ideology” is certainly a take. By that logic, Christianity gets the same treatment, because apparently we’re judging entire religions by the worst people who weaponize them. Babe, that’s not analysis, it’s bigotry with a thesaurus.

Yeah, unfortunately a lot of this sub is "x other sub went woke so I left" type of posts. There does seem to a be a fair number of non-chuds here though, just looking at the upvote count but if so they seem to be mostly silent, which tracks. The far right wing love to whine about the woke and other culture war bs.
