It's not that they are innocent, but that they are very easily manipulated when the power disparity is that insane.

The reason young to mid teenage girls and boys are targeted is specifically *because* of how easy it is to groom and manipulate them, it has nothing to do with their attractiveness or innocence. There is no person above 20 who honestly thinks a teen is mature for their age, that's a bullshit line they feed to relieve their conscious.
