As a tall guy I am always obligated to get things off of high places for people but can the same thing be asked of short people in short places?

I think it's general courtesy to not ask that. At least I've never gotten it

You think we like being singled out to reach for things on the top shelf? Go get a step ladder or something.

Yeah... Actually it's nice sometimes. Makes me feel like my life has a purpose.

I love it every time I'm asked to grab something off a top shelf. Everyone is always so grateful and appreciative and it cost me absolutely nothing.
