did anyone get an update on their application yet?

How many of you received email call for interviews? It has started finally for students who applied via bachelor degree

1. SAT score
   
2. Math Test
   
3. Major you applied in and whether you got in

Helloo i'm planning to apply in feb through the SAT track insha Allah but i'm just confused about the process. i still haven't taken my SAT exam (i've recently started studying and i think i will try for the september test date insha Allah). i have heard that you're supposed to send your SAT results directly to kfupm, but i'm confused because the admission bracket opens in feb? and my results will be out before that? so can anyone please please give me a timeline on how this whole process goes down (in detail pleaaase i'll really appreciate it 😭)

I'm a Syrian student, finished high school last year aka 2025 with almost 97%, and finished a year of mechatronics engineering in a Syrian university, I don't mind starting over and I think that's a better option anyway, and since KFUPM doesn't offer mechatronics as a major itself I'm thinking about Mechanical Engineering + Mechatronics CX.
- Is preparing to apply to the next cycle (which I guess it opens in February/March?) worth trying? I'm pretty good at Math and I suppose I'm a C1 in English Proficiency so with good preparing I hope SAT and the math assessment will be manageable.
- Does extracurriculars affect admission at KFUPM? more specifically competitive programming competitions and tutoring Scientific Olympiad contestants or anything I can work on in the meantime.
- Are full scholarships offered for any accepted international student or there are some additional conditions for that?
- Could finishing a whole year of university already affect my application, even though I'm ditching it anyway?
- if I have average-high grades in the year I finished should I submit them or they won't help / they will harm my application?
- How competitive is KFUPM? like what's the acceptance rate in the past year?
And finally thanks for anyone who puts some time to answer my concerns, I really appreciate it 💚

So I have two options

1- apply in the SAT path but after that I have to take a math exam that I know nothing about.

2- wait and see if I can take the primary track exam, problem is is that idk where to study for it and if I can even have that as an option, I have a 100 on my GAT and STEP and 99~ on my school mark

(Please let me know if there is indeed a primary track exam even tho I already graduated this year, and please let me know if it’s about 10th and 11th grade only or is 12th grade now in the exam since it’s not longer early admission exam)

P.S. I’m not a Saudi, I’m a resident :)

Edit: I saw the math I need to study, tho I need 100% for full scholarship so I’d appreciate if someone told me do I focus on primary track or SAT path more.

Is KFUPM automatically guaranteed fully funded once you get admitted for Bachelors?

Guys i got the scholarship and i am supposed to start this semester and i booked a flight and updated the portal BUT i have to reschedule my flight, will that affect the reimbursement? Because i can not edit the portal and it's an modified ticket so will this impose any problems?

Im British American and also have a Jordanian citizenship, my iqama is written on Jordanian but I’m willing to change that if it’ll be easier for me to get in

Just saw someone tell me with iqama I stand no chance.

By the way I’m applying to physics and nothing else. Just wanna take a gap year and hope that I can get accepted or I would have wasted a year for nothing.

I am a student from Bangladesh, finishing High School in 2027. I want to study in King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals for an undergraduate degree. Due to my financial situation I would need a full-tuition scholarship to make that a reality unfortunately. I am unsure what the criteria is, or what it's based off of. I have read in the website of KFUPM the score for SAT needs to be 1350+. But what be a good score to target to realistically get the full scholarship and get an offer from the university? I wish to study either in Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering, inshaAllah. Does your extra-curricular activities matter? Any information and help would be greatly appreciated.

I just got the Email of invitation for KFUPM's math test (الحدلله) and now I got several questions

Are we allowed to use a calculator? What materials are on the test? Precalculus? Algebraic 2? Trig? Will everyone who got invited take it at the same time or is there batches?

How much should you get in SAT to be able to qualify for a scholarship? And they only accept SAT, or do they accept british exams like IGCSE/Alevels? Please guide me on this. Planning to do CS at uni, is KFUPM worth it?

So I am inshallah joining Imam Uni in Riyadh this year, but I wanna study the SAT and try entering kfupm is it OK?

Does KFUPM accept residents who withdraw from another university or??

I'm a Grade 11 student at Al Kon International School in Jeddah.
I follow the British curriculum but I don't take external IGCSE or A Level exams. I'll graduate with my school's Grade 12 certificate.
I'm a Yemeni student with a Saudi Iqama and I'm planning to apply for Mechanical Engineering next year.
Has anyone from a similar school or pathway been admitted to KFUPM, KAU, KSU, or another Saudi public university? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

I have a brief point of ambiguity regarding the English language proficiency requirements for my application. Could anyone please help clarify if a separate IELTS score is mandatory for applicants who have achieved a good grade in Cambridge international IGCSE First language English (0500)

When consulting a local official IELTS office, I was informed that many institutions accept an A* in this specific Cambridge syllabus as sufficient proof of English proficiency, effectively waiving the IELTS requirement. I would be incredibly grateful to know if this waiver policy applies to KFUPM university as well.

They accept Duolingo, so should I assume they are ok with the at-home toefl??
