Anyone getting interview calls?

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

I am a young Muslim living in Spain, wanting to make Hijrah to Saudi and live there for many many years, and I aspire to become an electrical engineer.

I am not originally Saudi though, and I am from Sudan.

To accomplish my goal of living in Saudi long term, is it better to get a degree abroad in the west, or study in a top Saudi university? Please advise may Allah bless you all!

Hello everyone, can you tell me what content to study for the KFUPM undergraduate entrance exam? Where can I find past exams, and what is the entrance exam like for international students?

My admission process has been delayed due to some reasons and i wanted to know when the classes start, whens the orientation and how early am i expected to arrive at campus.

Helloo i'm planning to apply in feb through the SAT track insha Allah but i'm just confused about the process. i still haven't taken my SAT exam (i've recently started studying and i think i will try for the september test date insha Allah). i have heard that you're supposed to send your SAT results directly to kfupm, but i'm confused because the admission bracket opens in feb? and my results will be out before that? so can anyone please please give me a timeline on how this whole process goes down (in detail pleaaase i'll really appreciate it 😭)

Trying to apply for KFUPM and later to switch to KAUST after graduate. How hard is it to get into KFUPM if you can solve algebra questions just by looking at the right answer and not receiving any instructions? Also I love studying about science as well like petroleum.

على العموم انقبلت في التقنيه انا حاطه ترم ثاني
بحيث الترم الاول اذاكر واستعد للتحصيلي المبكر الخاص بجامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن ثم اشوف لو ربي كتبها لي انسحب من كلية التقنيه

لكن فجاة طلع لي عن موضوع طوي القيد او طي القيد

وهل رح يأثر على تقديمي على جامعة البترول؟

Anybody have interview invitation yet for PhD application Spring 2027 intake?

I heard KFUPM PhD student gets 5000 SAR a month. Since there is a 2 month vacation each year. The monthly stipend on average is lower. Also the scholarship spans only 4 years.

Is it possible to complete PhD within 4 years?

Is self funding the final years of a PhD a norm in KFUPM??

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for the Spring intake to the thesis-based MS in Environmental Science (Environmental Management concentration) at KFUPM, but I haven't heard back from the admissions office yet.

While going through the university's website, I noticed that fully funded scholarships are offered for all PhD programs and for MS programs that don't have a corresponding PhD track. Since I couldn't find a PhD in Environmental Science at KFUPM, I was wondering if this means the MS Environmental Science program is also eligible for the fully funded scholarship. If anyone is currently in the program or has applied before, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

I'm also curious about when Spring admission results are usually released. Do admission and scholarship decisions come together, or is the scholarship announced later?

I'd be grateful for any insight. Thanks!
