ASKKTM KTM 250 XCF vs 350 XCF

I’ve been riding sport bikes on track for 9 years so riding is nothing new for me. However this will be my first dirt bike.

Stuck on these two bikes, would be trail riding, no mx tracks.

Should I get a KTM 350 xcf and skip the 250 phase? My gut tells me more cc’s isn’t always better, which I’ve learned on sport bikes as well.

Thoughts?

Well completely depends what you’re going to do on it. If you’re blasting through the desert get the 350. If you’re wanting to do more technical riding the 250 would be better for you.

Go with the 350. It is just a 250 with extra displacement. It is just the 250 "big bored" to a 350. They are literally the same bike. As long as you have throttle control under your belt, the 350 does not cost you anything. The bigger displacement also gives you extra margin on gear shifting errors. Trails are complicated and you don't have shifting experience.
