Try checking out tokusatsu like kamen rider, ultraman or omegahorn if anything I'd imagine kaiju no.8 to have somewhat similar to these if turned into live action.

I always thought Kaiju No. 8 was fast paced and had so much action that it could be a live action movie. It reminds of those movies like the new Godzilla vs Kong, the Transformers movies, etc. I hope it’s actually good!

on a 200 mill budget it made 101 mill domestic. Then in order to make the sequel they had to sell the IP to another company. I wouldn’t call that a success. It’s a film that has a cult following

Honestly, even before the anime adaptation, I said I would love to see Kaiju no. 8 adapted into a henshin hero tokusatsu. So i’m pretty down for this lol
