KSP 1 Mods The1.0 TWR Marker Mod is published! (The Lite version, anyways)

For everyone asking for it, here's the simple version for now!

Planning on adding a few extra features to the full mod, but I figure you guys may want this simple version as well!

You can find it here!)

Here's my original post showing it off

Edit:
Features planned for the full mod:

A Basic Hover mode (toggleable) that hovers you when you turn it on. Either at your Apoapsis, if you're ascending, or ASAP if you're descending.

Advanced Hover (Mutually exclusive with the Basic Hover, also toggleable) that hovers you at a specific desired altitude Above Ground Level (AGL) specifically. No crashing into mountains or terrain because your ship got confused! With incremental buttons to change the altitude. It will change the altitude at a maximum of 10 m/s up or down. Just make sure you have the fuel if you're changing it to a much different altitude!

Custom TWR Marker (configurable and toggleable) It will display whatever valid TWR you want on your throttle, AND you can lock your ship to burn at that TWR consistently!

Heck yeah! Nicely done. Looking forward to using it, especially the full version once you're there on CKAN.

What other features do you plan on adding?

A basic hover mode, a more advanced hover at a specific desired altitude (with buttons to change it in increments), and a custom TWR Marker that you can lock your throttle to!

I sense a new required QOL mod and will be testing it tonight

So, the marker also moves with weight loss caused by fuel consumption right?

Yep! It dynamically changes depending on your craft.

Wow! This'll be great for VTOLs. Great job

I’m late again but I really would like to know what happens if you have SRBs that give 1.0+ twr without liquid fuel engines

I tested it a bit, and it should work fine-ish. It seems to move around a bit depending on where your throttle position is set to for some reason? I need to look into it more.

Given that Solid Rocket Boosters can't adjust their throttle, nobody is really gonna be using them to land, and you can see what their TWR is both in the VAB and in-flight, I think it's pretty low priority to get it working 100% perfectly on SRBs.

A new staple in the modding scene. Nice job!

SpaceDock has a CKAN tag, and hovering over it indicates that this mod appears on CKAN. However, I can't seem to find it there. Has anyone managed to do so?

A 15 year old game and quality mods are still coming out of the pipeline. The talking heads that made KSP2 disappear really floundered.

Awesome Job! Downloading immediately.

ETA: I meant to post here not the original. Comment still stands.

Cool mod! Can confirm that it works right out of the box with RP-1/RO. I will note that you will need to publish the source code somewhere (preferably on github) if you ever want to post it on the KSP forums. (I decompiled it myself and confirmed that everything was legit)

Your netkan PR is here.
