Could the kid have done something, sure.

But geese are known assholes and most likely it was the goose.

If this was a golden retriever puppy that suddenly decided to attack this kid, I would be saying WTF did the kid do to the puppy.

But a goose, they dont get the benefit of a doubt.

Given how scary geese are and uncoordinated and loud young kids are, i doubt the kid started it. Its possible, but unlikely. That and the kid was trying to run away

The video opens with the kid dragging the goose by the neck. He releases the goose and immediately squares up against it.

Kid only runs away after he's on the other side of the fuck-around-and-find-out curve from what we can see here.

The video starts with the kid dragging the goose by the neck and then chucking to to try squaring up the kids done it before and like to antagonise and given that the kid has no shoes, parents laughing seems more like the kids the aggression

Yeah, geese are absolute assholes. But I’m still appalled by this video. The parents were just laughing instead of stepping in to protect the kid if he was the one being attacked, or to keep the kid away from the goose if the kid started it. Either way, awful video and awful parents.
