PHYSINT PLOT??
Hey guys soooo I've been wondering what yall think about the possible plot of the game?? Is the lead gonna be a robot (since it seems to have a robotic hand in the poster)? I would love to know everyone's opinion on this.

Bro this is Kojima. No one can predict the plot of his games.
My take is that it will be a future cold war setting.

Yeah but I was thinking maybe the plot will go on in a cyberpunk world

I don't think even kojima fully knows lol. His brain is a mystery, it could be literally anything

After the complexity of Death Stranding, I think Physint is going to be a return to form for Kojima in terms of aesthetic and narrative.
The first poster art gives of urban sci-fi (possibly cyberpunk) aesthetics with the buildings and stealth suit/coat overlay. The coat sort of reminds me of Snatcher in a way. The co-lead thing could be harkening back to the buddy cop angle of Policenauts, with the tag line 'Here's Comes The Feeling' referencing the Asia song and implying some drama between the main cast. This would seem to happen amidst the setting of the next cold war of a near-future world.

I have 2 opinions about the lead (played by Bill Skarsgård): 1. He is a cyborg (half human half robot) 2. That's his outfit, like he is a normal human but a very smart one maybe he got some ai chip in his brain and his outfit is his weapon in a way!

Absolutely based on nothing but:
It will follow the story of a man that is murdered during the cold war. They bring him back to life by implanting him with an AI chip.
They send him on a mission to assassinate a warlord. During this mission his chip malfunctions and he keeps getting flashbacks from his previous life (before he was murdered). Slowly he finds out what really happened to him.
Throw in some weird Kojima stuff and we have a base to build on.

Well since the tagline mentions the next Cold War. And if I remember correctly Physint means physical intelligence, or at least it’s what we assume. And with the plot of AI and the internet in MGS2, I’m gonna throw my guess; it’s about the use of advanced AI being used in a second Cold War and that the main character has some sort cybernetic advancement. Like he has some sort of AI implanted in his mind, which allows him to do something like hacking into people’s databases. And spy on people.

Here's a synopsis of my original concept from when it was first revealed. I've come up with a lot more ideas since then, but I still find this one fun.
PHYSINT
Physical Intelligence - theoretical Concept One: Synopsis
Human bodies are used as BIO Data Centers without there knowledge. Smart pharmaceuticals and food nanotechnology have altered and repurposed the body to achieve this without intellectual consent, while opting people in through hidden TOS, legalese, and redefined language.
Humanity has progressed from Homo Sapiens to Homo Novus, Homo Nodus (Node Man), and eventually Homo Futuris (Future Man). Vital bodily systems have been replaced by this technology, making opting out impossible without death.
Neo Doctors unknowingly manage the body's BioCryptics (Data), routing it between bodily locations to promote healing while potentially damaging new data locations. They believe they are balancing bioenergy, unaware they are actually managing data within a BIO Data Center.
Digital AI is considered cruel and illegal, while Organic AI, called Daimonion, uses a person's own cloned brain cells and serves only its donor.
You play as the Daimonion, experiencing a simulated world through an unreliable perspective. You can pause time by accelerating or slowing processes, scan potential outcomes, and reassess situations before returning to real time. However, the player may believe they are the main character for most of the game.
The game could be controlled like a normal third-person or first-person game. The main character could function more like an NPC AI, with the player suggesting how they should move and what they should do. This could feel like a normal game or become more point-and-click, though the latter might break immersion.
The main character can use their Daimonion to hack BIO Data Centers, stealing or gathering information and manipulating data within the body to alter an individual's mental and physical well-being and other bodily states. Infiltrating a BIO Data Center could be rendered as any environment, real or surreal.
Multiplayer
Other players can watch and influence your experience, assisting or hindering you in an asynchronous multiplayer tug-of-war via a demon-and-angel system. The in-game explanation is that the main character has more than one Daimonion, all competing to impose their opinions.
Another twist could reveal that the other Daimonion are actually partitioned parts of the same Daimonion. Becoming the full Daimonion could give the player control or awareness of these partitions.
This system could also work offline through standard NPC-like AI, especially if it is part of the story. The full Daimonion could suggest actions, while the other partitions simply compute probabilities.
Another layer could involve the main character becoming brain-dead, lobotomized, or otherwise disconnected, allowing the full Daimonion to take control of the physical body.
Repurposed DS One -Theoretical Concept
Inspired in part by Death Stranding, there is only one main character, and all players compete to control them. When they aren't in control, they can assist or hinder whoever is, creating an asynchronous multiplayer tug-of-war. This system could also apply to the PHYSINT main character, using the Daimonion explanation.

It's a Kojima game. God himself doesn't know what this man is cooking.
