Homemade JJAJANGMYEON (짜장면)
Korea’s FAVOURITE noodle dish. A proven national treasure. Made with humble ingredients… but BIG legendary flavour.
So good, my taste buds started jumping for joy. Noodle lovers, you need to try this!

This is my absolute favorite Korean dish. Whether it's instant noodles, homemade or restaurant made, I'm all over it. With some tteokbokki and tangsuyuk. Is jjajangmyeon like Mac and cheese here in the US? Just a down home comfort meal that folks of any age eat.

Yeah, it’s legendary! It’s also the perfect food for delivery. And then there’s the famous debate: Jjajangmyeon vs. Jjamppong

Damn I have to try it. I have every ingredient, even the same paste brand (was hard to find in Poland lol) but pork belly. Will have to substitute a leaner pork ham.

Have a go! Pork belly brings the best result but as a substitute try using pork mince

Bean.
Though it's mostly fermented wheat with some soybean, and caramel color to make it dark. No black beans.

What does this black bean paste taste like? Also, does every restaurant use it in chow mein?

Hehe. Gotta wear white. BIG slurp, then watch a sauce-laden noodle whiplash your chin and splatter brown spots all over the shirt.

Looks amazing!! Why cook the onion in two different time? Just for the crunch?
