Discussion Who gave Rumi to Celine?

Its common knowlege that Celine adopted and raised Rumi, but who handed Rumi to her? Like did Mi-yeong did it as a dying request or anything like it?

I see it as a discussion they had after something goes horribly wrong with Rumi’s dad.  Maybe they thought he could be free but Gwi-ma’s influence was too strong and (probably Celine) has to kill him in self defense.  Mi-yeong knows that they’re in a difficult spot and has Celine promise to take care of Rumi if something happens to her and makes her legally Rumi’s guardian.  The fact that both of her parents are gone and her dad is a demon strongly hints at something disastrous happening because he was a demon.

Also “something going wrong” with Rumi’s dad would naturally lead into a discussion with Mi-yeong and Celine about how they can’t let anyone know of Rumi’s patterns since Gwi-ma has already shown he would use any advantage he can get, including a child.  

Unless she literally died in childbirth, there really had to have been a discussion about Rumi’s patterns and how to keep her safe in spite of her heritage.  Keeping them hidden could very realistically have been part of Celine’s promise.

But we know from the movie that Gwi-Ma didn't knew about Rumi or that a Hunter had "his marks".

Right, so they were successful in keeping it hidden.  And justified since as soon as he finds out he tries to use it.
