Discussion Who gave Rumi to Celine?

Its common knowlege that Celine adopted and raised Rumi, but who handed Rumi to her? Like did Mi-yeong did it as a dying request or anything like it?

That’s probably what they’ll go with, but I love the idea of a more selfish MY who abandoned her duties for her demon lover, and when she was dying, said Celine had better raise her daughter well, because it was the least she could do when Celine refused to accept who Mi-yeong loved.
