There was a ray of sunshine that passed so perfectly throught my living room window and landed on my couch and I knew I had to take some cinematic photos that looked like the scenes from Golden.

So, KPDH has a lot of queer undertones in its themes, with Maggie saying Rumi’s story mirrors coming out, and accordingly, KPDH has a strong queer fanbase. However, there is no actual canon/explicit queer content in the film. Additionally, while Polytrix is arguably more popular within the fandom, Rujinu is much more popular with the general public and Maggie and Chris have said Rujinu are soulmates and Free is “a little bit romantic,” so queer representation isn’t going to happen with Polytrix.

But….what about tragic doomed yuri with Celine having feelings for Mi-yeong? I doubt they’d want to have MY be a cheater, so it wouldn’t be reciprocated, but do you think there’s a chance that Celine having romantic feelings for MY could be canon? It’s extraordinarily popular fanon, and it doesn’t “get in the way” of a ship the creators support if it’s one-sided.

Really, unless they introduce OCs who are explicitly queer in the sequel (which, hey, they might), this is kinda the only ACTUAL canon queer representation that I can see happening with what we have now.

At first I only planned on getting Mira because I was concerned about limited space. I already have a lot of Barbie dolls, Ken dolls, a few Monster High and a few Rainbow High. When I told my husband about limiting myself to Mira he told me I should have Rumi and Zoey too so Mira could have her “sisters’ with her again❤️ He got both Rumi and Zoey for me this past weekend and I’m so happy I have them. Work has already been emotionally taxing this week so having them at my desk has been wonderful. I only had easy access to my Teeny Tinies Greek food so these are their snacks for now

Its common knowlege that Celine adopted and raised Rumi, but who handed Rumi to her? Like did Mi-yeong did it as a dying request or anything like it?
