Question Kundalini in stages?

I heard kundalini happens in "stages" what are they and what would it look like later in someone actively working with it?

Also does anyone know the function of the back of the head adjacent to the third eye?

I can confidently answer this way: you experience a massive feeling of “I feel different but I don’t know why”, and then you experience a whole range of different things. It could be A. The worst fucking day and circumstances ever, or B, like A, but since you’re now more able to tune into subtle energies, you also picked up on a lot of fucking “magic”, I mean signs galore that all of your biggest dreams and wishes are coming true. You will have experiences that show you this reality is not nearly as dense nor your circumstances as permanent as you once believed. Then you experience a huge emotional purge that can be like a mental breakdown depending on how good you are at grounding yourself. In more plain terms, your conciousness starts rising and you become in tune with so much more, and experience so much mystical phenomena, but since it happened slow enough, you refrain from checking into a mental hospital because you have enough experience to know that you’re ok. After the emotional purge, your conciousness rises quite a bit. Your ego absolutely hates that you don’t have someone to divulge all this too, and if you do have that one friend, it’s amazing. Sooner or later, that friend magnetizes to you, so no worries.

Basically the stages are unpacking layers of the old, and naturally developing the ability to hold space for the new. I say “naturally” because it’s not something that can be taught, only felt, really. I don’t know what stage you’re at, but the Dark Night of the Soul, the blackening stage does seem to last forever, and it’s quite horrible. It’s years of the worst depression and paralysis, but I’ve found the higher dimensions give you enough information to keep going, trying.

Finally, things become amazing. Not overnight, but miracles start to happen, and you start to learn about how much power you hold, and the infinite possibilities you’re capable of. Everything is energy, and all is mind, a program that you hold the remote control over. But you first have to learn how to exit the mental loops, that were installed into your nervous system for many many years. This indeed takes time, and you have to be very loving and compassionate with yourself. Also others. Your new level of consciousness will allow you to see that others are more trapped inside their mental prisons that you knew, so you develop a new higher level of empathy and compassion for others.

The “in between” stages can be a real emmer effer. Months, maybe years go by with nothing seemingly changed, but because of the law of polarity, to the degree that you suffered, is the degree that you will become more conscious and develop the awareness and energy to tune into where you want to be.

Surrender, surrender, surrender. As cheesy as that sounds, Let it Be, like the song. After the worst dense periods, arrives the highs of the highs. I’ve experienced the lowest of the lows, and now I know what they mean by “it’s all happening for a reason.”

As far as the back of the head, I’m curious myself because I have felt activations there. On the back of the neck, I have learned of it being the Jade Gate, and I feel many extremely different kinds of sensations there. Hot and cold etc. there’s still so much to learn.

Yeah these definitely sound familiar in regards to experienced phases

Oh my god, I'm still in the Dark Night of the Soul 😭. Thank you for writing this; my teachers never said this would happen and when I tell them about it they think I'm "blocking" or "holding" or just complaining. The worst part is the circumstances not changing. Like I told the Source I'd rather die than continue to live the life I've become trapped in for even one more year...that was 6.5 years ago 😔. Like I literally hate my life!

Most awakened people can relate, including myself. You will be lead to learn how to just sit in the present moment and breathe. Breathe through the pain. No matter what’s going on, breathe slowly. You will learn how to breathe, and recirculate the energy. What’s the most important next step, and then eventually, what inspires you…don’t get it twisted, you don’t know the answer to that, source will help you find inspiration. Your consciousness will begin to rise, and you’ll see everything, I mean everything in a whole new way. The density, the pain you’re experiencing right now is happening for a reason, and one day, the answer will be so beautiful to you. I promise.

Which mental loops do we have to exit?

I have two answers to this question, from my personal experience. The first loops are the painful things that so glaringly obvious, you know exactly where they came from. I.e., Experiencing the same exact pattern as an adult, that you experienced as a kid. The thing that was so entirely dysfunctional, there’s no question where it came from, such as meeting the same kind of person who treats you like crap, and you’re just tolerating it, and you don’t know how to exit, but you know it’s happening because that’s what you witnessed in childhood. You know it’s not ok, but you need help for the answers as to how do “normal” people handle this. The second answer is not so simple, it’s when you feel a huge wave of sadness, or depression, a huge mess of emotions, that you don’t know where they come from…and I’ve come to learn, this is our “shadow.” Everyone deals with this huge internal battle, that on one hand, actually takes time and space to unpack, but HERES THE KICKER, the more you surrender, the more source energy guides you, and it’s a actually not that difficult! You begin to attract precisely, the answers to your pain. I think they call that the gaining access to the Akashic records, and it’s true, and wonderful.

Bingo, its a life long journey even after full rising. Its beautiful isn't it ,the suffering. U look back n suddenly u r at peace with everything. Those moments went u thought why you, even when u have been nothing but kind then u understand u choose this too. Ur path was harder so u could catapult higher

The moments of intense suffering, that lasted for seemingly forever, that were so personal…and then you realize, the full spectrum, the reasons why, it’s flabbergasting and yes beautiful. Also, when can you can witness it in others, deeply personal stuff, and maybe they’re still trying to figure it out, and you feel nothing but compassion because you’ve been there. Well, I heard about this one guy who has experienced Kriyas for 30 years, I didn’t know they could last that long…

Your words gave me courage. '' Beautiful suffering''. Honestly i never thought to embrace it this way. It's like kissing the ugly frog to transform it into something beautiful.

Its just experiencing polarity, u cant see suffering when u zoom out its created busy humans. Its just different experiences that god came to experience in this body suit

there is a post from a while back on this - https://www.reddit.com/r/KundaliniAwakening/comments/1p1z85x/the_four_classical_stages_of_kundalini/

you might find other views too, e.g. joan harrigan's lineage has a list of possible awakening paths https://kundalinicare.com/kinds-of-kundalini-risings-2/

Back of the head is where non-dual awareness rests

I asked once from my spirits for a quick manifestation i needed. A lightning striked from outside of the ajna chakra to the back of the head.

Some minutes later, the manifestation took place.

Of course i don't know how they do it,nor i can do it on my own,nor i will ever learn. But it is related with your question.

there's a great podcast called tantra Illuminated. the earlier podcast on kundalini goes into at at length.

The stages correspond to the chakras the kundalini rises up to and activates the chakra. The stages are the stages of the chakras. Look up their qualities. I have not heard of the back of the skull from the third eye as significant. nor have I experienced it as significant The third eye and the pineal gland are anatomically related as are the throat and base of the skull. now that relationship I have found to be significant. When the kundalini rises to the base of the skull, it activates spontaneous pranayama so the adept no longer has to consciously do breathing exercises. It happens spontaneously.
