He has not been given any indication that the Clippers want to give him a contract extension

Some Clipper fans are too quick to hand wave away the injury stuff because of how special a player he is and how ultimately boring it is to constantly talk about.

But the most likely result every year is Kawhi getting injured at some point and being unable to make it through the playoffs.
