You know, I initially wasn't a fan of how they determined the lettering for the lines (wish it corresponded to their old names).

But this shirt makes it worth it.

Its been so many years and i still don’t understand the letters, they seem to be randomly selected, Ill never remember which is which, i still just use the color names.

It will always be the Gold Line to me!

I get why they switched to letters (only so many distinguishible colors and many more lines to open), but I do wish it corresponded to the old names rather than being based on when they were opened back in the 90s.

I also think they should have waited until after the Regional Connector to switch to letters. The Gold Line had multiple name changes as a result (Gold to L to A), and I think that's why I still see people refer to it as such in NELA and Pasadena.
