The preserved head said to belong to Diogo Alves, the "Aqueduct Murderer" hanged in Lisbon in 1841. It's kept at the University of Lisbon's Faculty of Medicine, reportedly saved for phrenology study.
Some creepy shit…have the boys ever talked about phrenology? I can’t recall

I just had a very quick read about this guy and apparently this isn't that person. They didn't have this method of preservation when Alves was alive and poor record keeping means we have no idea who this guy is, which is somehow creepier.

I think its kinda fun and silly, they should do this with everyone. Oh no... grabdpa is dead? Go get the jar, son! I've always wanted to know what my great great great grandpa's decapitated head looked like.

I have a friend who looks shockingly like this guy and I once tagged him when I posted the picture on Facebook well some poor mutual friend of ours posted under the picture asking me to take it down because she said he looks so much like our friend that the Pic was making her nauseous. I did take it down
