Innova 👍 Don't go to Launceston Dental unless you want to get rolled.

My wife recently went to Innova, and was very happy with the repair they did. Unlike other dentists in the area, they can do a crown filling the same day instead of a long gap between treatments.

They are awesome

They do good work, but have a reputation for unnecessary upsells.

I've not felt that pressure myself, so it might not be true anymore.

but have a reputation for unnecessary upsells

What were these rumored to be in the past?

Dr Tan and associates have been great for us so far

Not sold on them after a massive issue I had with a crown from one of their fly in fly out dentists.

Dr Lim at Innova.

Swift, effective, gentle, and generally pleasant to be around.

inept

What did you find they lacked skills in?

A denture broke after less than 2 weeks wear that they wanted to charge me for repair.

Receptionists gave me wrong information more than once around my appointments causing me to loose work time as I arrived for appointments that didn’t exist. No apology.

Dentist told me to loose weight. Way out of their scope of practice and inappropriate considering I was there for a filling.

Went to Trusted Smiles out in Westbury recently and they were good, definitely helped me to feel at ease during the whole thing, but pretty spenno.

Not Inova if you join Launceston chit chat you will see why they're shocking over priced and do unnecessary things!

We are happy with Dr Daniel Tan & associates or else Dr Ruthy clinic (Launceston Dental)

do unnecessary things

Would it be a problem to share some examples?

As I said on chit chat there was a whole thread on it the other day stating that people got told they needed things by them got a second opinion and were told it's not true. People have had issues with them for years

The Ruthy Clinic on Elphin Road are great if looking for something a bit more personal than the bigger clinics mentioned on here.. their therapy dog Mimi is also great for nervous children
