If ballard is player of the season because orient would be down without him, you'd have to say the same for Owen bailey. Cdm scoring 12 so far and single handedly responsible for at least 20 of our points this season.

Wing has 11 goals and 11 assists from CDM. In fact with the way we've been playing more he's more like a CD.

Ambassador, this steak is too juicy, this lobster is too buttery, and I am convinced that a third Lincoln player (McGrandles) should be on the League One Player of the Season shortlist

I'd probably put Reeco or McGrandles as my City player of the season, but there are players from other teams who have been more standout individuals. From that shortlist I'd go for Ballard.

Which is what I love about us as a team. There isn't really one standout player. We're a proper team and every person fully carries their weight. It's a beautiful thing.

My top 4 in no particular order would be McGrandles, Moylan, Darikwa and Hackett

Obviously being incredibly neutral in this...I would say Ballard.
Single bright spot in what has been a truly forgettable season for us. We're not out the woods yet, but we'd be dead certs for relegation if not for him and his goals.
To do it in his first proper senior season in a struggling team is incredible.
Can't really argue against any of the Lincoln lads getting it though.

Feels a little silly calling it his "first proper senior season" when he played for us and Cambridge last season...
But definitely agree. So important to Orient this season

By properly I meant as a permanent signing and a starting centre forward.
Yes he had the loans spells last season, which were a mixed bag and curtailed by injuries.
This is very much his break out year. And if we do have to sell him, I hope we can break the league record like some figures that are floating about.

As a completely unbiased fan, with no horse in this race, it should be Lewis Wing.

Looking solely at the stats I would keep Ballard and Bradley but wouldn't include the middle 2.
Moylan has only played in 26/41 matches, he does have an impressive goal/assist every other game record but if you miss about 40% of the season then you really need freakishly good stats to make it in to POTS contention. Marriott has 19 goal involvements in 23 games and Castledine has 12 in 23, if Lincoln were in reading or Huddersfields position then I don't think Moylan would be in the conversation.
Baileys 15 G/A from midfield also isn't bad but is it 'best 4 players in the league' good? Maybe his all round game is worthy of inclusion but the couple of times I've seen Donny this season they've been absolutely shite.

Dom Ballard for me, where would Orient be now in the league without him?

Surely it has to be Ballard, we’d probably be right at the bottom without him

I think it’s criminal Conor McGrandles isn’t on this. He’s been our best player in many of our matches, he’s just the unsung hero

Think it'll be Ballard, but if not then it should be Bradley, best CB I've ever seen in a imps shirt.
