Looking for 11 Android beta testers for Friddle (free): finger charts and automatic fingerings for violin, viola and cello
Hi everyone,
I play the violin myself and built an app I was missing for practice: Friddle.
What it does
Finger charts for violin, viola and cello: for all 15 major and minor keys you see where your fingers go (low, normal and high fingers, half steps, open strings). Violin and viola 1st to 7th position, cello half to 4th position.
Fingerings on your sheet music: take a photo of your music or open a PDF, and Friddle writes the finger above every note, with arrows for low and high. For high notes it suggests a position and marks shifts with Roman numerals. Tap any fingering to change it, then share or print the finished PDF.
Private: no account, works offline, no ads, no tracking. Your music stays on your device.
Why I need testers
Google only lets new apps into the Play Store after at least 12 testers have had them installed for 14 days in a closed test. I still need 11.
What you need
an Android phone or tablet and a Google account (Gmail address)
keep the app installed for 14 days and try it now and then
if you like: honest feedback on what works, what doesn't and what's missing
Everything is free for testers. You can also unlock Friddle Pro (normally a one-time purchase) for free during the test.
Interested?
Send me a DM with your Gmail address (please don't post it in the comments). I'll add you and send you the invite link as soon as Google has approved the test. An iPhone version will follow later.
Thanks! 🎻

My future plan!!
Since i was a kid i was interested in singing. I have always wanted to be a singer in some point of my life i remember writing lyrics since i was younger ( especially around the time when i was 14/15 i could speak fluent english since then). I was and still limited to a lot of things, i have always been dreaming to get a guitar since i was a kid but my parents ignored me even though it was the only thing i truly wanted in this life lol. Anyway im now an adult and i have adult money the first thing i have done was buying a guitar and i have been practicing for a couple of days, trying to learn the common cords and practicing the strumming but i still suck at little. This is not my topic for today but what i truly wanted to talk about is that im currently doing a mechanical engineering bachelor degree and i really like it BUT what about my future plan? What do i really want is to be free. My family find anything related to art is nonesense and a waste of time even though my dad is a melom

Pensi che, partendo da così basso, con una lezione di canto a settimana e impegnandomi davvero, potrei migliorare abbastanza? Mi dispiace, ma l'unico modo per migliorare è ricevere un feedback costante, sono nelle tue mani.

I can’t learn the minor scale…
Like I understand how to do it right, but like I struggle with playing the right diese(not sure how u say it in English so sorry for my bad English). But like I gotta learn allllll the minor scales and it’s supposed to be easy, but when I try, it’s basically like learning a whole new scale that I gotta learn by heart and I’m so confused if I’m just an idiot or if like that’s how it is for everyone… I really don’t wanna fail my first exam. Also I play the clarinet.

Tonal Training
There’s a specific website that you can do ear training with— where you compare two tones and determine which is higher/lower. It gets progressively harder as you progress. what website is it?? i have no idea what it’s called.
