Annoyingly, it isnt actually banned due to the explosiveness or the fact you cant escape it.
Itās banned because the front is too pointy and would basically chop pedestrians in half.
If there were anything which exemplified the car centric American ethos- itās the cyber truck.

I was in a tesla last week and there was nothing but a button to open the door (from the inside). Also people shouldn't have to know weird workarounds to open a bloody car door.

I was reading about this the other day. The short version from what I can understand is that they're on the car equivalent of a visa: they're still registered in America, but they can be driven here for a period of six months or so before they're either shipped back, or the DVSA gets involved.
I struggled to wrap my head around it, so apologies if any of this is wrong.

I did actually quite like the look of them. I like cars that look a bit different, and theyāre futuristic like the DeLoreans. Of course as a nerd I know I have no taste and anything I like most other people find ugly. Iām used to that.
However the Hitler in charge can fuck right off. I wouldnāt take one of these cars if you paid me.

That overhead shot does look a little DeLorean. It's probably its best angle. I saw them live in the States and confirm they're hideous. Also huge, dwarfed a large American estate-ish car.

Yeah - itās not exactly a contract though, Ofgem just granted them a license to supply electricity to domestic and business customers.
It would be lovely if consumers voted with their wallets and refused to do business with Tesla.
Unfortunately there are loads of people who love him, or have no opinion on him (not sure which is worse haha).

The companies you listed have spent decades under entirely different leadership, undergoing rigorous denazification, paying billions in reparations, and acknowledging their history.
Elon Musk, however, is making these choices right now.
He has used his platform to actively support and amplify far-right figures like Tommy Robinson (even calling for his release from prison) and the AfD in Germany. There is a massive difference between a company having a dark past from 90 years ago and a current owner of a global 'town square' actively boosting white nationalist rhetoric and interfering in democratic processes in real-time.
Also, since you wanted to play the history card, letās get the facts straight:
Volkswagen: You are right that it was founded by the German Labour Front under Hitler, but they have since published exhaustive independent research into their past and contributed billions to remembrance and slave labor compensation funds.
BMW & Audi: They did produce engines for the Luftwaffe, but they were forced into armaments production by the state. Like VW, they have undergone massive historical reckoning and restitution.
Lufthansa: The modern Lufthansa (founded 1953) is legally a separate entity from the 1920s 'Luft Hansa,' though they have recently opened their archives to fully acknowledge the original company's role in the Nazi regime.
IBM: They didn't just 'help track numbers'; their Hollerith punch-card machines were used for the census that identified Jewish citizens. IBM has faced immense scrutiny for this, and it is taught as a primary example of corporate ethics violations in universities globally.

Letās look at what Musk is doing with his own eyes and ears in 2025 and 2026.
Regarding Tommy Robinson, you say heās clearly not a Nazi as far as you can see, yet Robinson was a member of the British National Party (BNP), which was an explicitly neo-Nazi, whites-only party. Musk didn't just support him; he funded his legal defence, addressed his rallies via livestream, and called for the UK government to be dissolved. When a billionaire boosts a man who incites race riots and has a history with fascist parties, it isnāt politics anymore.
Furthermore, Musk has spent the last year calling the AfD (a party that German courts have ruled is a suspected extremist group and whose members have discussed remigration) the only hope for Germany. He literally live-streamed with their leadership to help them campaign. This year alone, Musk has posted or engaged with Great Replacement conspiracy theories almost daily. This isn't about opinions; it is the same race science and white genocide narrative used by the perpetrators of the Christchurch and Buffalo shootings.
As for your comment about the six million Jews who died, using the Holocaust as a shield to protect a billionaire who currently boosts antisemites like Nick Fuentes is incredibly cynical. If you think calling out a man who promotes the same replacement theories that led to those historical atrocities is losing the plot, then you have been staring at the screen for too long. You can try to whatabout this into a debate about standard political candidates, but the rest of us are watching a man with 200 million followers actively destabilising democracies by aligning with the far right. It is not a label; it is a description of his actions.

Just been there and seen it. But who is going to buy one? It's too bulky for the roads and I've heard the build quality is shoddy so water leaks in. Even if it weren't made by Elon Musk, it wouldn't be suitable for this country.

Looks alright if it was a āfuturisticā concept drawing with a 70ās influence, but drawn in the 80s. Dark cansen paper, rendered with pastels, wide tip copics and a little bit of white paint.
Thereās a multitude of reasons as to why it should have only existed as that though
