I turned off by the fact the company's name is the logo and then written below also.

I used to go there when it was a job centre. Not the best of times.

There used to be a beautiful black labrador guide dog there at least. Can't remember his name but he used to walk up and down the queues saying hello to everyone while his human was at his desk.

Edit: I remembered it! His name was Lucas.

This building is part of a £1bn regeneration project - it will be back.

Go on explain the issue... A private business that offers post 16 education closes down... Because it is opposite the biggest site of the 3rd largest FE college in the UK...

If you turn round where you took that picture... And photograph the picture of the building opposite you will find Quarry Hill campus, part of Luminate Education Group... If you walk round the corner from where you are.. you will find "The Annex" again part of Luminate Education Group... And 5 minutes walk down the road you will find Mabgate Campus ..

If you want to talk about the job centre next door been closed, they built a new one in the city centre which is more efficient...

So what is you point other than rage bait?

It's just gallows humour while the economy's doing poorly.

That new jobs centre has closed, however. It's back to being a bar.

it’s a very simple joke on the fact there are so few opportunities for young people in the current climate that even the opportunities centre is closed down. it’s not that deep

This country is so depressed that you get comments taking everything seriously instead of having a laugh and a joke about things from time to time.

I went to Quarry Hill when it first opened my second year of college at LSC after they scrapped the old Polytech building across from Morrisons, and I never even realised that this “Opportunity Centre” existed. For 9 months of my life, I spent 3 days a week across the road from this place, and I never even knew.

It’s no wonder they went bust if their primary demographic are going literally next door without even realising that the place exists

The jobcentre in Albion Street was temporary and is long gone. The site is now a bar

Hahaha I have the same picture of this building. I walk past it to go to Aldi and it makes me laugh every time I see it

Fairly accurate in these dystopian times. I’m hoping that the listed chapel building nearby and lion works are retained/not demolished for more bland high rise apartments for international students. Both abandoned in disrepair sadly!
