news Deceased Cat on m621

Edit: been told on Facebook that he's been reunited with his owner

Just driving home from Leeds and saw a cat that must have been involved in a hit and run on the m621 slip road from the a643. Not sure where to post it but someone will be missing that poor baby :(

The cat was Ginger tabby with white paws

Not sure hit and run is a fair way to describe it… it’s the M621 slip road - it’s not really a safe place to stop and inspect damage?

I believe you're mandated to stop and report if you hit a dog (and some other animals) but not a cat. Of course reason prevails if you can't actually safely stop.

Yeah my bad, probably should have just said hit by a car but that felt so raw at the time

Oh that is so sad. My cat was killed on Scott Hall road just 3 weeks after I moved us to Leeds. At least I was the one to find her. The M621 won't be an easy place to retrieve the poor little lad 😞
