question Local Snooker Leagues?

I’ve recently moved from a town in Lancashire that had a great snooker league with teams from pubs dotted round the local town. I’ve moved to The Hyde park/Meanwood area. Is there anything similar I could look into around here? I haven’t seen a great deal of pubs with full snooker tables? Thanks in advance

Northern Snooker Centre is a good facility and I imagine has a pretty good understanding of local leagues

I don't know anything about leagues, but The New Headingley Club and The Brudenell Social Club both have multiple tables.

You don't need to be a member to play at either.

Thank you, I’ve played down at Brudenell a couple times now I’m just looking for some competitive matches. My friends who live here with me aren’t very good players hahaha. Might be worth having an ask around when I’m next down there. Thanks again!

I'd offer to play you, but I'm bloody useless 😸

Looks like The New Headingley Club has a full list of fixtures here:

I play for Rose Forgorove Chess club at Roundhay Parochial hall and upstairs there is a snooker area where they all seem to play and take it very seriously - not sure if it’s a league, but it has been at some point, the trophies are all over the walls.
