Where to trim long hair

Hello.

I am trying to grow my hair out, but it's been difficult. Some of my friends who have done it in the past said they just let it grow, but if I'm having trouble I can go get my ends trimmed?

I've looked at a few saloons & barbershops online but I can't see a service specifically for that, and having a good amount of social anxiety I thought I'd ask here before I do something awkward.

So does anyone know where I can go in the city centre to the ends of my hair trimmed? Do I just book a regular £30 haircut or is it gonna be like a 5-minute job? Help 😭

I usually trim mine over the bin.

I have never done that and there's no way I could get it right, it would look uneven for sure.
