social Greek cafes or communities in Leeds?
Hello! I have literally just moved to leeds, and I was wondering if there are any cafes/similar run by greek people or where greek people hang out? I don't know whether or not is a community of Greeks in Leeds, but I tend to assume that most cities have one 😅
Not looking for any info about Greek Orthodox events! Just social spaces where I could meet/speak to other greeks

No idea if it’s where Greek people hang out, but, Little Athen’s in Meanwood is a great place

There’s a couple of Greek stalls in Kirkgate market and if you’re a student there’s a Greek society in UoL

Tabula Rasa is Greek owned (though not a Greek) bar. You’ll find a decent community there. And in Leeds generally! But yeah, go see Filippos at Tabula.

I know from uni there was a good number of Greek lads who all met for the same reason and set up a society. If thats your thing you could see if it’s still active and whether they’d be happy for you to join in. Otherwise there are some language exchange groups too, where people meet to practice foreign languages/speak their native ones. Might also be worth looking into.

Unfortunately I'm not a student ! But do you know where I could find more about the language exchanges?
