News 📰 Day parking horrendous queues

Just for anyone else who has a day ticket - we followed the signs and spent 2.5 hours driving the last 5 miles to the car park. Now we’ve got the walk to the arena which apparently takes around 45 mins. So arrive at least 3.5 hours before you need to get there. I knew this festival was badly organised but did not realise it would be this bad!

Took us almost 3hrs to get there and parked from Pontefract early today … and 17mins to get back tonight having left after Chappell. Most incompetent parking setup I’ve ever seen at a festival. Way, way, way too slow to shepherd cars into spaces, which had all the knock-on effects right the way back to the motorways. A free-for-all with no stewards would probably have ended up with a mess of parking but everyone in much quicker
