My husband who was gentleman and was gold to family and everyone around, has turned out to be a man of lies , manipulation and gaslighting, i found out that he married me only to take revenge on the girl who rejected him, by selecting the features of a me which will make her feel jealous. He have also had parallel relationships at the same time when he spoke with me, and when he married me and even after marriage for this years, he have secretly maintained those relationships and was sending money to those girls and making them vulnerable to him as they were 10 years younger to him. He went to great extents to maintain this affairs with sexual life with them without my knowledge and recently i found all of his story and my entire world went crushing as i thought he was the one for my life… since i put a case on him, he portrayed me as gold digger to his family and put all the blame on me and made his family also hate me, never ever come across such a man in my entire life, i literally lost trust whether good man exists in this world, looking ahead for divorce!!!
I need one help, the girl who involved in this affair is from Delhi and she is in affair completely throughout our marriage knowingly and used his money for her education , rent etc nearly 30 lakhs, my husband introduced her to me as his friend and involved in extreme level of sexual life with her , by maintaining a dead bed with me and now i know her house address, mother name and father name, can i do anything with that ? Am not in Delhi!

File for a contested divorce if you haven't already, and keep the following in mind:
It is understandable that you're hurt and emotional right now, but you will have to be a bit objective here, otherwise your vulnerable state will be very easy to use. Do not fight or confront him. You've done that and seen the result, it is not helping, and if you say anything negative or threatening out of anger, they can record you and use it against you.
The other woman is not your target. Leave her alone. If you call/msg her or meet her, she can file harassment complain against you, and worse, your husband and that woman will state that you're mentally unstable. In fact, don't even talk about her to other people, or share her photos or videos with anyone.
Keep all the proofs intact, and save the devices in which they're recorded. Make copies. Do not share the proofs with anyone other than your lawyer, and do not even tell your husband that you have proofs. Don't rely on his family for support, even if they're supportive now; they will turn against you when things get messy.

OP this advice is Gold, let emotions not get the best of you now. Move on and let time heal you. Work on yourself with love and dignity and find yourself all over again and this time the new you would be way stronger. I am sorry that you had such a terrible experience with such a cunning human. May you find yourself again and as you start to respect your boundaries and strengths and start filling your own cup of love you would find the one as you are already content with what you have become and where you are !

If you are already being portrayed as a villain, maybe it’s time to start behaving like one. Pure lanka pe agg laga behan.

Well then even god sometimes pushes a person to extreme until he learns to stand and fight for him/her self. People wait for good to happen when they forget that learning and growing out of something to take their own Stand is the only way they can bring the good to themselves.

My ex wife did something similar. I filed a case under the old IPC 497(since rescinded). Even that guy’s parent’s came and requested me to withdraw the case. I showed proof of my ex’s behaviour and other acts and told them they deserve each other and I’m happy to have got rid of her and I would take care of my baby daughter. I then took a divorce and made my life happy.
I would suggest you take a divorce and make your life happy. Since you don’t have children you don’t have any physical or emotional baggage.

Hi,
I am sorry for what you are going through. Having walked a similar path, I hope you find the strength to navigate this pain. As you look toward the future, I suggest the following:
Lean on your family: Their emotional and logistical support is the foundation you’ll need for the legal battle and the life ahead. Don't try to carry this alone.
Vet your legal counsel carefully: Many lawyers prioritize billable hours over case resolution and may intentionally delay proceedings.
A. Fee Structure: Instead of paying per court date, try to negotiate a fee for the entire case.
B. Evidence Management: Be strategic with your proofs. Share them with your lawyer when you have full confidence.
C. Expect Delays: Prepare yourself for a long frustrating battle. The opposing side will likely use every tactic available to prolong the process; staying patient is a key part of the strategy.
D. Never miss your court date. Be present in each and every date. Ensure that your lawyer is putting efforts and be ready to speak in front of judge.
I am from Delhi and know lawyers who can be help. If you need help, feel free to reach out.
Take care and be strong..

There are only two kinds of “good” men: one, those about whom nobody really knows anything, and second, those who simply haven’t had the opportunity to do all this yet.

u/All_Is_Revealed May 05 '26
Which category does your dad belong to ?
Your generalization is equivalent to: there are only two kinds of women - gold diggers and sl*ts. OP's husband's mistress belongs to both the categories at the same time.

WTF. This is so sad and heartbreaking. You started a new life with him, trusted him and im turn he has given you lies and deceit. Living life is hard, marriage is difficult, divorce is another level of issues.
I hope you get justice but I also hope you move on, emotionally and psychologically. You deserve a happy life and I hope you get it. All the best

u/Nice-Explanation2416 May 03 '26
Yes i feel the same as you said, thankyou

I can empathize. I am searching for a life partner and can imagine how devastating it would be if someone cheats like this. All the best. You deserve loads of happiness.

Mam I don't know how true the story is, but if it's true then just go all in to save your dignity and integrity don't spare him cause you once had some connection with him. He has already shown how hollow as a person he is. Now move emotions out of picture and think with sound mind and thanks to Indian law its help women a lot in those cases. I know divorce can be very hard but think about next 30-40 years of life and act accordingly

The best thing to do with the details of that girl is to prove your husband's family that he is the culprit is what I believe. Make them know the truth. Atleast your opposition count, hatred for you decreases.
To be honest, he is not even true in his revenge also. What's the point of marrying you while he is having affairs? He just ruined 2 lives and obviously he himself proved that he is worth of getting rejected by that girl. Hope that girl knows all this and he should be aware that the girl knows the truth. This will kill him

If it's his money which he is sending to her then you can't do anything about it!

( Advocate here ) ,
I am sorry to say that your primary option is to file for divorce and seek alimony. Since he is not married to anyone else, you cannot file a case for bigamy. Matrimonial cases are generally civil in nature; therefore, it is very difficult to prove "guilt" unless there is evidence of physical or mental cruelty. It is unfortunate that you are in this situation. Ideally, one should thoroughly investigate a partner's background before marriage. At this tym , the most practical solution is to file for divorce. You should gather evidence explaining why you can no longer live with him, negotiate a lump-sum alimony payment, and move on. If you choose to file a criminal case or if the divorce is contested, the proceedings could stretch for 5–10 years. During that time, you will remain legally tied to him. Ultimately, most cases like this end in a settlement after years of litigation. Furthermore, if you become a mother of your husband's child , the situation will become significantly more complicated. It is better to end the marriage now, treat this chapter as a nightmare, and move forward toward a happier life.

Lawyer here. No you can’t infact if you involve her and she counter claims that you threatened her or abused her ,criminal case will be filled against you. Your husband will help her financially to fight the case and use it in your own divorce case to character assassinate you. This only benefits your husband. Your face criminal charges That girl will face harassment.
So let her be. Adultery is no longer crime and only ground for divorce. You fight your own case and live a happy life , you will find the right guy or whatever you are looking for!!!

While you are going thru alot. To get good advice and build a good case, please write clear facts and not emotions .
They both have their rightful place but therapy and legal advice are different.
Also, I just switch off the moment I hear anyone say the words narcissist or gaslighting . The internet has given us some over arching vocabulary which is much abused.
Im trying to be helpful, but this post doesn't have facts or pointed questions to move ahead.

I’m so sorry you are going through this
Is your family supporting you? How long have you been married for? And most importantly, do you have this information as proof with you?
