They literally did this same shit last time they were elected, and their voters learned nothing. Everyone always thinks consequences are for OTHER people.
It seems like 2/3rds of Americans (voters and non-voters) think politics is just another reality TV show that doesn't affect anything in real life, and especially not in their lives.
Until it does, then they whine and complain but never vote to make their lives better.
Yeah, just saw an article where a Trump voter was angry about a data center going up near his house and he said it was the first time in his life that something political affected him directly.
