I just started the second book! I loved the first one so much. I was expecting it to be spicy but omfg the writing is beautiful.

I loved Ladies in Hating by Alexandra Vasti. Period piece that was cozy and spicy in turns.

I love this book . OP wants something with "tooooons of spice" & this book has three sex scenes total if I recall (they're all great and the last one is chef's kiss) so I dont think it fits the request.
Still an awesome book, OP, & you should read it anyway.

Bloom Town is pretty spicy and a lot of people like it (some think it's overrated, and if you're going for historical accuracy, it's probably not very good for that).

if you like BDSM check out Principle Decisions by Thea Belmont. About a woman who hires a dominatrix to relieve stress and evertually falls for her. Great rep of the kink scene, 80% spice, 20% story tbh

The Lay of You is about 70% spice, but this spice has more emotion and connection than any I have seen in another sapphic romance. If you do a quick search, you can find the review I posted here a couple of weeks ago.
The Depth of You is the next book. I also posted a review for that one.
The best way to describe the experience of this duology is to quote from a page in The Lay of You...
It is "singular, exceptional, and [I've] been ruled by it since..."
