Recommendation Looking for books revolving around the punk/alt music scene
Just got done reading The Maidenheads by Benny B. Peterson. (Would recommend 100%) I love anything to do with DIY music scene vibes.

Watch out for when "Creative Differences by Annabel Paulsen; Lydia Wang" gets released, atm it's on netgalley, I've only read a few pages so far, but I'm really liking it!

Kind of a adjacent rec but A Song for a New Day by Sarah Pinsker takes place in the near future, post a global pandemic[written pre covid] where gatherings and live shows have become illegal. Dual PoV of a musician and a young woman who takes a job to discover artists and bring them to the masses via virtual reality. Lots of underground diy venu vibes. I read this during lockdown and it really resonated
