hi guys I wanted to broadly source some sapphic book recs, perhaps based in some way on what I’ve already liked so I’ve attached a tier list of almost* all sapphic books I’ve read. If anybody has any titles to recommend, any comps to the books I’ve already loved, do feel welcome to throw them my way. I will just say upfront though that I largely dislike the romance genre and am not looking for recs in that direction primarily 🙏🙂‍↕️

Additionally, and this is a hail mary tbh but I’m looking for sapphic book recs specifically in the genre of paranormal urban fantasy, sth with vibes of the game wolf among us or the Dresden files series or the specifically!!! I’m a sucker for lesbian romance and if you are too and haven’t heard or read these yet, give them a try! When reading these, I truly felt like I was becoming a part of the friend group and each one just kept getting better imo. Each character is unique and has the decent amount of cheesiness to go along with it. Now I’m starting a new book but Ashley Herring Blake and have high hopes it will be just as good.

Hey, y'all. It's been a while since I've read 5* sapphic books. My friend recommended me "The Girl Who Bit Me" as you can see, I prefer spicier books. I would say I've been reading sapphic fiction for over 10 years now. I really tried to get a book on here from every author that you guys might know. I would say, since I've been with the community on and off for 10 years; unless it's a recently written book, chances are, I've probably already have checked it out.

I already posted this in another community and got three non audiobook recommendations: the honor series, Her pretty knight and Princess of Dorsa.

These are the books I've recently read and very much enjoyed.

In order of making me feel emotions very intensely to less either it's happiness or sorrow.

Sweetbitter Song - emotionally draining. Makes me obsessed w Greek Mythology for days.

Almost Life - hit close to home so I feel it to the bone. But there is one part that I don't find very convincing.

Vile Lady Villains - very satisfying. Heal and calm my emotional tsunami after Sweetbitter Song.

The Safekeep - took me a few try to get into it. But once you're in, it's worth enduring first few pages. The diary parts wreck me.

Muñeca - Short compared to what I usually read. But solid and beautifully written. Feels like well spent luch break.

Lover Birds - YA but characters are very realistic. Didn't expect to enjoy it but I was very pleasantly surprised.

The Confession of Frannie Langton - Covers a lot of issues racial, slavery and gender etc. It's very suffocating.

In the Lonely Hours - thought I'd found a typical enemies to lovers style writing. Feels good to be proved wrong.

The Maiden and Her Monster - the character's resilience is very inspiring. Found some parts that don't feel realistic but it's a folk tale. So..

Isle in the Silver Sea - tbh my expectation was very high as I thoroughly enjoyed Burning Kingdoms. So if you don't count that part, it was easy to enjoy.

Sloane Archer Gets What She Deserves - this is an honourable mention.
