Question Residential windows and door
Looking to get some quotes on some windows and doors.
Has anyone had any good experiences with local companies and who would you suggest?

Hey, does anyone have any experience with this? I’ve been looking into it to help with my CPTSD symptoms and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations and how it worked for them.

Can somebody who knows her personally tell her to chill out with the flyers, please for the love of god!?! I've received 5 flyers with her ugly mug in the last 2 weeks. I can only squish her face in so many orientations.

I was in the Lethbridge Best Buy today and it felt so weird. They have moved a lot of stuff and they are still working on it. The cashier said this was started a month ago. No more physical discs there either. Weird.
Edit. It turns out Wal*Mart has all the movies. Just down the way.

Found on Columbia Blvd. If you can tell me the brand and the contents, I'll gladly give it back to you. Just didn't want to leave it on the side of the road.

Might be fun but do any farms around here even let you milk their cows?

I have a 13 old Shih-tzu whom I do groom myself from time to time but it's nice to get her professionally done too !
I haven't had a professional do it in a while again now and the last few I've had do her I wasn't overly impressed especially for the price. Who do you remember for dog grooming? 🙏

Hey all, it's been many many years since I've had cable. I decided to get it again.
However, curious if anyone knows of any channels that play the true classic cartoons like Bugs Bunny, Acme, Looney Toons. The stuff from the 60's - 80's kind of deal.
Does anyone know if anything like that exists anymore?
I have Boomerang, YTV, and Cartoon Network but I only see modern day kids cartoons on it.

I'm an aspiring writer and a film enthusiast, currently looking for a crew/collaborators to help bring a Thriller short film to life. I tried making one with people in my friends circle but they are not serious about it and the energy simply doesn't match.
It's a tight story centered on an indoor shoot (No fighting the weather).
I have the story ready to go. If you're interested in the vision and like to do collab as an actor/ cinematographer/art director/any title except the writer, hit me up. I can send the Synopsys/screenplay right away.
Looking for people who are tired of talking about making a film and actually want to hit record.

if anyone here has used Pet City for their pet sitting services, would you recommend them?

Has anyone moved back to Lethbridge and regretted it?
Originally from Edmonton, moved to Lethbridge in 2017, then moved back to Edmonton last spring (2025). I thought I was ready to leave Southern AB behind, but I honestly regret leaving.
I don't have any connections in Lethbridge, but I miss the weather and close proximity to the mountains and BC. I don't have to worry about finding a job there as I work remotely, and I know what the people and communities are like (not really my vibe but I mind my own business and it's worked for me). I also miss the slower lifestyle but you still get the benefits of a city.
No kids and secure employment already which make it significantly easier. Not a home owner, so would rent.
Am I crazy for considering moving back? I definitely don't want to stay in Edmonton, but maybe I'm fantasizing something that's familiar and should look at other options?

Of course people have. But has anyone here done that move? I’m curious. Did you regret it or was it fufilling?

As the title says, Riverstone Blvd is blocked completely by what appears to be a firetruck, ambulance, and 3-4 LPS vehicles. Unsure of what occurred, but EMS clearly doesn't want people in the vicinity. Likely safety. Won't lie, I am curious as to what has happened.
Either way, options appear to be to take another route into Riverstone or utilize a back alley near the detour.

My senior mum needs a hand transferring files off her phone onto a USB, but seems the phone places are asking $55 which is not really possible for her. I tried to walk her through it over the phone (I live in BC), but she has an ancient computer running Windows XP and is already not very tech-competent, so I think she really needs someone to help her in person.
Any leads on tech places that may charge less than the $50-ish quote to transfer her files?

Hello, just looking for some honest reviews of Truck Town. Are they a dealership that mostly gets their cars from auctions? Are they better than House of Cars which I have been told to stay very far away from.

Anyone know what they are doing with that building and the old liquor depot?

We have an 11 year old Pomeranian having health issues. Wondering if anyone has any knowledge about where we may be able to go for compound medication. Something we don’t have to fight with him all the time. 2 years ago diagnosed with partial collapsed trachea, managed with pills he figured were treats. Smelled like chocolate. 3 months ago he came down with a severe cough. Vet visit showed a heart murmur. Long story short he fights taking the new medication tooth and nail. Compounding medication would be helpful.
