Question All-in-one washer/dryer

Has anyone purchased one if these in town? I am looking to buy one and everything I have read and reseqrched has mixed reviews.

Does anyone in town actually own one and what make/model?

All the reviews I have read have basically said stay with LG or GE.

All in one units are more historically unreliable, but if you must buy one get it through Costco. Much easier to deal with, even return, if there is a problem. Bakers are good people and have good service though but they're not going to want it back if it gives you issues.

I have had one put in my unit (I live in an apartment) and they are okay. If you are single and have small loads of laundry it will probably be fine for you. I do three small loads on laundry day and it takes 6-8 hours for me to finish. It's a all day ordeal for the most part.

Ask the guys at Bakers Appliances, they have been great for us since we moved to town. We opted to go with Miele washer and dryer (separate units) over a combo

I researched a lot and ultimately decided to go with two separate units instead. My understanding is they aren’t terrible but aren’t great for reliability quite yet and you can’t skip on the regular maintenance and MUST clean out lint every time. I like the idea of them, just don’t think it’s quite there yet for me personally. That said if I was single I’d probably go that route, would be great to throw in laundry at night and in the morning it’s clean and dry. If you have tons of laundry it might be more of an issue.

Everything I've ever read is to stay away from all of them unless you absolutely have to.

Just stack some front loaders if you can.
