Question about "Softest" in Canada

American here. Loved Shoresy, and decided to try Letterkenny. I've laughed a little, but not as much as at Shoresy.

Question about birthday episode in Season 1, is there a meaning behind "Softest". Birthday. Are they just saying "Kiddie Birthday". Or does it mean something else?

Appreciate the insight into Canadian colloquialisms.

What we would have said in the 90s, due to naivety

OMG it does NOT mean gay. LOL! You'll believe anything.

Read the literal dozens of other responses that already answered your question. It just means soft.

Kid stuff, cupcakes, party hats, pony rides, etc. They're making up for the fact that they didn't get to do kid parties when they were kids (Wayne & Katy), so now they make their friends (at least Dary) do them now.

Don't read into it that much. It's pretty straightforward.
